There
are
many
memories
I
have
of
Dustin
on
Easter.
How
excited
he
would
get
to
color
Easter
eggs
and
go
to
Grandma
and
Grandpa's
to
hide
them.
Dustin
waking
up
on
Easter
morning
and
finding
his
Easter
basket
and
all
the
goodies
the
Easter
Bunny
brought
him.
His
favorite
was
the
chocolate
bunnies.
But
by
far
the
most
precious
memory
I
have
of
Dustin
on
Easter,
was
Easter
1997.
Dustin
was
11
years
old
and
in
the
5th
grade.
We
had
never
really
attended
church,
but
Dustin
had
started
to
go
to
church
with
my
very
dear
friend
Linda.
Dustin
joined
the
pastor's
class
for
the
youth
and
attended
with
Linda
every
week.
On
March
23,
1997,
Dustin
made
his
confession
of
faith
and
accepted
Jesus
Christ
as
his
savior.
The
following
week
on
Easter
morning,
March
30th,
1997
Dustin
was
baptized.
It
made
my
heart
smile
and
I
was
so
very
proud
of
him.
Only
4
years
later
on
July
8,
2001,
when
my
poor
Dustin
was
called
home
to
the
Lord,
It
brought
great
comfort
to
my
heart
that
Dustin
was
with
his
Lord.
I
spent
many
hours
talking
to
the
Pastor
that
had
taught
Dustin
so
much
and
found
great
comfort
in
his
words,
after
the
loss
of
my
precious
Dustin.
I
searched
deep
in
my
soul
and
knew
I
needed
to
do
what
my
Dustin
had
done
so
bravely.
After
Dustin's
passing,
Dustin's
brother
Tray
and
I
did
counseling
with
the
same
Pastor
and
on
Christmas
Eve,
2001,
we
both
made
our
confessions
of
faith
and
accepted
Jesus
Christ
as
our
Savior
and
were
both
baptized.
It
brings
great
comfort
to
my
heart
knowing
that
Dustin
is
safe
and
I
can
only
imagine
the
day
we
will
be
reunited.
